Verse by Verse Study Through the Bible

The Bible is summarized in this:

God created the world perfect, without sin or death, but mankind disobeyed Him, bringing sin and its consequences into the world. Instead of abandoning humanity, God, in His love and mercy, sent His perfect Son, Jesus—who is also God—to take our place. Jesus willingly came to earth, lived a sinless life, and sacrificed Himself on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Through His death and resurrection, He offers us the free gift of grace—salvation not by our own works, but by faith in Him. Those who accept this gift will have eternal life, joining God in heaven forever, restored to the perfect relationship He intended from the beginning.

How to Become a Christian and Be Saved:

God looks at the heart. The thief on the cross who way dying beside Jesus was saved last minute.

Luke 23:41-43 New Living Translation 41 We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.” 42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.”

43 And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

If you ask for forgiveness of your sins and turn from them, believe Jesus died in your place for your sins as a free gift of grace (even if your belief is the size of a mustard seed, but genuine), thank him and seek him you are saved. We will never be perfect, but God sees our hearts. Two commandments encompass them all ‘love God with all your heart’ and ‘love others as yourself’ we need the power of the Holy Spirit to do this. We die to self and ask Jesus to give us the power of the Holy Spirit to be more like him each day. We come as we are and He changes us over time.

There is only one God who is Spirit in three persons, God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit.
